The first thing to do is establish the correct working end of the H6/H7 Scaler. This one’s tricky because both ends of H6/H7 look the same. One way to memorize is, that your away surface should be number six. Another way to remember this is, that the elbow of the working end should be pointing away.
While you are doing to start the get ready zone, and place the H6/H7 Scaler inside the sole kiss where the calculus lives. For effective removal, make sure you are not flexing where you shouldn’t be. Start-up and downturns until you feel the peace of calculus, then put the lateral pressure to remove the calculus. Chip the piece of calculus off using just the last two mm of the instrument cutting edge.
